Peter is 6 years old and he is a very naughty boy.
One day, Peter tries to steal gum(口香糖)from the food shop when his mum takes him shopping. He stands in front of the gum shelf, looking nervously at the gum and waiting for the right moment. After about 30 minutes, he finally makes his move, just as his mum is calling him to leave. As they walk away, a shopkeeper walks up to Peter’s mum and tells her that Peter takes a packet of gum, which costs 5 cents.
