C
The pay is quite good可知,一个樵夫开始了一份新工作,工资很不错,老板看起来也很好,由此推断,樵夫将会从老板那里获得丰厚的报酬。
根据第四段中的“... the next day, but he can only cut down 15 trees.”
根据第五段中的“Then he goes to his boss and says that he cannot do the job any more because of less energy.”
根据句意理解可知,此处动词短语get caught up in是“陷入,卷入”的意思,be busy with跟短语get caught up in的意思相接近。
根据最后一段中的“Just remember that it's important to spend some time sharpening your skills and improving yourself.”
