答案： One of the hardest things Kate ever learned to do was swim. She was always afraid of water, but she knew swimming was a very important skill. Kate still remembers how nervous she was at her first lesson. Luckily, her teacher was patient and very experienced. The teacher first helped Kate relax when she entered the water. Once Kate felt comfortable, her teacher showed her how to move her legs and arms smoothly. With just a few days’ guided practice, Kate could swim 20 meters without stopping!
