Dear Peter,
Yours,
Li Hua
答案: Dear Peter, How are you doing? To make our class more productive(非谓语动词短语作目的状语), I'd like to voice my ideas(表达我的想法). I've noticed that many of us are hesitant to(犹豫不决)speak up, probably due to fear of making mistakes(宾语从句). To approach this, I strongly recommend organizing group discussions and role - play activities, where the relaxed atmosphere will inspire more active participation and motivate(激励)us to speak confidently(定语从句). Additionally, we could organize puzzles and grammar challenges to make our class more engaging and interactive(make + 宾语+宾补). Such activities can foster a sense of competition and teamwork(培养竞争和团队合作意识). I hope you can take my tips into consideration(将……考虑进去). Hopefully, they will be of great help. Yours, Li Hua

阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。
When I was in high school, there was nothing I loved more than going bowling — and no place I'd rather be than Al's Kingpin Lanes. That place was great: Friday 5 - dollar foot - long hot dogs with all the toppings, and always playing 1940s jazz and 1950s rockabilly music. I got so obsessed with bowling that I even managed to convince my high school to start a varsity(校队) and junior varsity bowling sports club.
During my high school years, from freshman to junior year, starting and leading my school's bowling club really helped me to come out of my shell. As time went on, our varsity team began winning local and even state tournaments. Soon enough, our school was getting bowling trophies(奖杯) to go alongside the trophies for more traditional sports like swimming and track and field. These victories not only boosted my popularity but also allowed me to form meaningful connections along the way! Life was great back then.
Still, the bowling memory that really stuck out to me was when I met Leroy. Although Leroy happened to go to the same high school as I did, we didn't really cross paths that much. I was already a junior by then, and as I found out later, he was still a young freshman. The strange thing about it, though, was how he would always hang out in the back, nervously watching everyone else play. Despite his regular presence, he seemed too nervous and shy to play or even talk with others.
Then, one evening while I was out with my friends at Kingpin Lanes, something remarkable happened. I witnessed Leroy actually picking up a bowling ball for the first time. His shoes were untied, he struggled to lift even the lightest ball up, and with each throw, the ball ended up in the gutter (保龄球回球槽道) lane, resulting in straight zeroes across the board.
注意:1. 续写词数应为150左右;
2. 请按如下格式作答。
That's when I finally made my way over to say hi to Leroy.
And that was the beginning of our friendship.
答案: That's when I finally made my way over to say hi to Leroy. Surprised to see me(形容词短语作状语), Leroy nervously cracked a smile[神态描写,表明了Leroy的紧张], “I just can't manage the ball...” “It's no big deal. Everyone was once a green hand,” I smiled. My encouraging words seeming to ease Leroy's nerves(独立主格结构), he opened up to me, talking about his eagerness for bowling(现在分词短语作状语) despite the frustrating fact that he possessed neither enough courage nor outstanding talent(同位语从句). His passion for bowling reminded me of(让我想起)my freshman year[情感联系]. “I will accompany you to practice it every Sunday,” I patted him on the shoulder(拍了拍他的肩膀)[动作描写,体现二人之间关系的升温]. Amazed and excited(形容词短语作状语), he expressed his heartfelt(由衷的,真诚的)thanks. And that was the beginning of our friendship. Since that night, meeting at Kingpin Lanes(动名词短语作主语) has become our weekly routine. As time passed, his bowling skills were dramatically sharpened(显著提高), which, in turn(相应地), reinforced his confidence and helped him fit in with(融入)others in the club(非限制性定语从句)[讲述保龄球带给Leroy的改变]. “You light up my sky!” Leroy was always telling me that whenever we congratulated him on his victories together(让步状语从句). If you ask me why I love bowling(条件状语从句,其中why引导宾语从句), it's not just for the sport itself but also for its power to boost confidence and change lives! [升华主题,引导同学们乐于助人,树立正确的价值观和人生观]
