Recently, my school took a trip to Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. I was so excited! My parents had taken me there before, but this was my first time going with my school and my friends, so I was looking forward to it.
The ride I liked the most was Pirates of the Caribbean(加勒比海盗). It wasn't too fast or scary, but it was really fun. The boat floated through a pirate world with cool music, lights and talking pirates! It felt like we were part of the story. It was so funny when one of us almost screamed as a pirate suddenly jumped out of the water.
Another funny moment was when we went to meet the Disney princesses, my friend Katie was so nervous about meeting Cinderella. She kept practicing what to say, but when it was her turn, she just froze and smiled awkwardly(尴尬地). We all laughed so much! It was a little embarrassing for her, but we all had fun.
What I really liked about this trip was how much fun we had as a group. Sometimes, it's easy to get caught up in schoolwork and life, but this trip reminded me how important it is to take a break, enjoy the moment and make memories with friends.
Walt Disney World Resort felt like a place where you could forget about everything else and just feel relaxed and grateful for these special moments with friends. I found life is about enjoying the journey, not just the destination.
