Childhood memories
童年回忆
It was just another warm spring afternoon. As usual, I was waiting to pick up my mum at the school parking lot. Suddenly, a ball rolled into the parking lot and stopped in front of me. I looked around and waited for someone to come and pick it, but no one came.
Just when I was about to pick up the ball, I saw two kids racing towards me. "Pass it to me!" One of them shouted. And so I did. They got the ball, quickly thanked me, and then went back along their way.
I was curious(好奇的) about where they were from. Since I still had much time, I decided to quietly follow them to their "paradise". And there it was—in the school playground, some children were laughing, chasing balls or making fun of their friends. They were really having a good time!
This made me think of the happy days of my childhood as a boy. Back then, lunchtime meant home-cooked food by my mum, not ready-made lunch from the canteen(食堂). The final exams were the only thing I had to worry about. In fact, my mum was even more worried about them than I was. The sharing of a new comic was the biggest deal of the month. Praise from my teachers seemed like a lifetime achievement award(终身成就奖).

Life has just moved on. Almost ten years have passed since my college graduation. More people have entered my life, but few of them have created(创造) memories as sweet as my school friends did. If I have a chance to talk to these kids in the playground, I would say, "______
