I live in a small village in Hubei. It used to be a very beautiful village. But things have changed a lot these years.
The river near the hill was very clean in the past. My friends and I often went swimming and fishing there. But two years ago, a big factory began to pour dirty water into it. The fish in the river were all dead. We can’t go fishing and swimming any more.
What’s worse, the factory is next to our school. It makes very terrible noise from time to time when we are having our class. The noise is so loud that sometimes we even can’t hear what the teacher is talking about. That’s really too bad.
