We can see many of the changes on our planet. But some of our efforts are almost invisible(看不见). Soil pollution is a good example. The Solution to Soil Pollution action for World Soil Day 2018 is to make people know clearly and call on people to stop soil pollution.

One third of our global soils have already degraded（退化). Soil pollution can be invisible and seems far away, but it has affected everyone and everywhere. With a growing population expected to reach nine billion

by 2050, soil pollution is a worldwide problem which degrades our soils, harms the food we eat, the water we drink and the air we breathe.

Most of the pollutants(污染物)come from human activities, such as farming practices,industrial activities and mining, the city waste and other non-environmental friendly practices.As technology developing, scientists are able to tell the pollutants that can't be found before,but at the same time these technological improvements lead to new pollutants coming into the environment. In the Agenda 2030, the Sustainable Development Goals（可持续发展目标) have purposes and they praise direct consideration of soil resources, especially soil pollution and degradation in relation to food safe.

It is time to face the fact. Soil pollution requires us to join forces and take action.
