阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。
A few days ago, I took my 5 - year - old son Jack for a drive around our town. While I was driving, we noticed a homeless man on the way. I really wanted to give the man some money, but I had left home in a hurry and had no cash on me.
That's when Jack, who was sitting in the back seat of the car, said he wanted to pass on all the money he had to the man. I didn't approve of the idea because he had only 30 cents in his pocket, which I thought was too small to give the homeless man.
It seemed as if Jack heard my thoughts and he insisted on giving 30 cents to the homeless man. I was more than happy that he wanted to help the homeless, but I didn't want to give this man who clearly needed all the help he could get just 30 cents. My own pride and thoughts of the homeless individual's unknown reaction to receiving just two coins were standing in the way. I told my son, “Let's wait to give until we at least have one dollar.” I showed him that what he sees as a good thing is in fact a good thing, but isn't good enough to make a difference in someone's life. I taught him that pride was more important than helping another human.
The traffic light was about to turn green at any moment, and the thought of a missed opportunity for my son to practice what I'd taught him made me change my mind. I told myself, “This is what I've been teaching him and now that he wants to give everything he has to offer in this moment, you're going to let your personal self - centeredness (自我中心) ruin a possibly life - long, great memory and solid teaching moment? Leading by example is what I've been teaching him, so now let him lead.”

答案:
I made up my mind to let Jack give the homeless man the 30 cents. So I rolled down the car’s window and told the homeless man that I didn’t have any cash on me but my five - year - old son wanted to give him everything that he had at that moment. When the homeless man heard that, his look changed in a second. He had the biggest smile on his face. He told my little boy, “God bless you, little man! Thank you so much for your kindness!”
My little son’s kindness not only brought the homeless man great happiness. And it put a big smile on Jack’s face as well. Without even realizing it, my little boy reminded me once again by his actions that no matter how much or how little you have, giving in love and sincerity will often bless others more than we think.
