读后续写
阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。
I've always had an interest in fitness. Living in New York as a child, I loved a form of jump - rope called Double Dutch, and I was a professional at it. However, it wasn't until 1986, after being sadly widowed(使丧偶) at 34, that my love for fitness began to take off.
Losing my husband was really terrible, and I could have easily sunk into a dark depression. But I knew that I needed to keep myself going. This was because I had two young little sons who needed me. I had to make myself busy. I would take whatever work I could get, often taking multiple jobs at a time. I had been everything, from a flight attendant and elementary school teacher to businesswoman and writer.
No matter what happened to me, I always made sure to prioritize my health and fitness. I had no time to exercise. As a result, I got up at 5 o'clock in the morning and ran up and down the stairs in my apartment block before getting the two boys ready for school. It was not only about working out, but also about finding special moments for me to get all my sadness away. Plus, I wanted to set a good example for both of my boys.
As I got older and my two kids grew up, having a good relationship with health and fitness only became more important. Around the age of 50, however, having spent three months in Spain, I had a bit of a wobble(动摇).
Having enjoyed plenty of sangria and tapas during my stay, I returned to New York, 30 pounds heavier.
Concerned, my doctor warned me that my cholesterol(胆固醇) was too high and said that he wanted to start me on medication to get it under control.

Paragraph 2:

答案:
But I said to him, “No, just give me three months.” In the following days, I got up at five o'clock to exercise every day. Given my age, I just ran for half an hour after stretching my body in the morning at first. In the afternoon, I walked for one hour. And I started to keep a balanced diet. I increased the workout gradually. Three months passed and optimism filled my heart when I visited my doctor again.
After examining my body, my doctor said I could be a fitness coach. My eyes lit up as his words opened a new window for me. After observing my sincerity, he said he was not kidding and that he could introduce some of his patients with high cholesterol to me. I took his suggestion into consideration and decided to follow it accordingly. From then on, I spent most of my time helping other people working out. I’m currently working toward becoming a certified trainer. My two sons say to me, “How proud we are of you! You are always setting a good example for us.”
