Before listening, I always choose listening materials carefully. Good listening materials from China Daily and TED can help me get close to real English. Also, I find it very useful to learn some listening skills and try to use them while doing listening exercises. For example, I try to note down the key information when I listen to the recording. Most importantly, I keep listening every day and now it has become a habit for me. As an old saying goes, “Practice makes perfect.” If we keep practising, I believe our listening ability will get better and better.
