Thomas Edison was a famous American scientist. When he was a child, he liked to find out how things worked. He was in school for only three months. He asked his teacher a lot of strange questions, such as "How does the wind come about?" "Why does one and one make two instead of four?". Most of them had nothing to do with his lessons. His teacher was angry with this. When his teacher told this to Edison's mother, she took her son out of school. As she had been a teacher, she taught him herself. For her, her son is not a fool. He has great talent. The boy read a lot soon. He became very interested in chemistry. At the age of ten, Edison had already built a chemistry lab(实验室) for himself. Since then, he never stopped searching for new and better ways to do things. He was remembered for the electric light, photograph and motion pictures.
