Dear schoolmates,
In the last several decades,our earth has been severely polluted and global warming has led to extreme weather. All of these warn us that protecting the environment is becoming urgent (宾语从句).

浸润劳育 When I was a high school student, I lived in an urban neighborhood, where opportunities to take part in agricultural activities were limited. My understanding of farming mostly came from what I had learned in books and I was always eager for a chance to actually explore agriculture.
Finally, the opportunity I had been longing for arrived. On Earth Day in the second year of my high school, my class organized a visit to a local farm to learn about farming. I was excited about the idea and couldn't wait to share the exciting news with my parents. The next day, I went shopping for tools with my father, such as trowels(小铲子), watering cans, gloves, and other necessary items.
On the day of the event, my classmates and I gathered at the meeting spot early in the morning. The weather was perfect, and everyone seemed particularly happy. Armed with our tools, we got into the car and headed off to our destination.
Upon reaching the farm, we were divided into several groups by our teacher. One group was in charge of planting the seeds, one for watering the plots, and one for weeding(除草) and maintaining the farm. At the teacher's signal, we all sprang into action.
However, it was the first time that the class had participated in farming, so many were unsure where to begin. I was among them. Fortunately, the workers on the farm were knowledgeable and taught us how to grow vegetables. I paid close attention, keen on absorbing every detail. Eventually, our group planted the first vegetable seed, followed by the second, the third...
The experience was not just about learning how to plant; it was also about understanding the importance of sustainable(可持续的) living and the role each one of us can play in protecting our environment. It was a hands - on lesson that made a significant impact on me.
注意:
(1)续写词数应为150个左右;
(2)请按如下格式作答。
Inspired by this experience, I decided to put my knowledge to good use.
As the harvest season approached, there were many vegetables in the backyard.

答案:
Inspired by this experience, I decided to put my knowledge to good use. Back home, I spoke with my parents about starting a small vegetable garden in our backyard. It was with their encouragement and assistance that I made the plan.(强调句) Together we decided on the best location,cleared a section of the yard,tilled the soil,and carefully planted the seeds we had bought,each step deepening my connection to the earth and my appreciation for agriculture,and giving me a profound sense of fulfilment(独立主格结构).
As the harvest season approached,there were many vegetables in the backyard. Thriving under my care were tomatoes,potatoes,lettuce and carrots(倒装),their fresh scents filling the air. We enjoyed each healthy meal,which came from our own garden(非限制性定语从句). I also shared our produce with neighbors,spreading the message of sustainable living. Had I not gained experience from the farm,this success wouldn’t have been possible.(虚拟语气,倒装)This experience made me realize even in a city,we could make a difference to the earth’s well-being.
