Do you like to taste food at stores before you buy it? Or stop in the fitting room to try on clothes before paying for them? What if you could do the same for travel? Well, Kayak is making it happen with the new Kayak VR, an app that helps travellers to “visit” a place before booking it.
Kayak calls the new VR app a way to “test drive” a city from home, both to choose a place and to find out what to see once you get there. The app brings visual content(视觉内容) and an audio (声音的) tour of the different places together. As well as visiting local hotspots(当地热点), users can go around in hotels too.
Kayak VR offers a few different ways to travel around. For example, travellers can use a computer to move around the scene(场景) while listening to an audio tour. Inside Kayak VR, information on the screen will tell viewers what landmark(地标) they are looking at, as well as details. The app is the travel company's first move into VR. It now offers information of two cities: Venice in Italy, and Kathmandu in Nepal. If it sees success, more cities will be included.
The company doesn't mean to take the place of a real visit with their app. “Kayak VR is just a study tool that lets you try a city on for size before booking. Nothing is better than actually touching down in a new city and feeling it for yourself.”

根据第一段的“Do you like to taste food at stores before you buy it? Or stop in the fitting room to try on clothes before paying for them? What if you could do the same for travel?”
根据“The app brings visual content and an audio tour of the different places together.”可知看和听是可以同时在App实现的,A项表述错误;根据全文可知,文中并没有提到eat,B项无中生有;根据第一段的“an app that helps travellers to ‘visit’ a place before booking it”并结合全文可知,文中未提及Kayak VR有预订航班和酒店的功能,D项内容属于无中生有;根据“It now offers information of two cities: Venice in Italy, and Kathmandu in Nepal.”
根据画线句上文“The app is the travel company's first move into VR. It now offers information of two cities ...”
根据第四段中“Kayak VR is just a study tool that lets you try a city on for size before booking.”
