请认真阅读下面短文,在设空处填入一个恰当的单词或括号内单词的正确形式。
South Korean people may become a year younger. The 44 (country) president ended the country's special way of counting age to support the international standard(标准).
South Korean people usually count a baby's time in the womb(子宫) as the 45 (one) year of its life. This means babies are 1 year old at birth. Also, they add a year to their ages 46 New Year's Day. This means a baby born on December 31 would be 2 years old on the second day of 47 (it) life. This way of counting can be called the South Korean “social age”. A South Korean person's legal(法定的) age already follows the international standard, starting at 0 on one's day of birth.
South Korean people use the social age most of the time. However, it causes some problems when they try to have a 48 (communicate) with the government. The government has 49 (experience) social and economic costs from disputes(争端) so far. For example, people plan for their pension(退休金) money 50 (early) than they should receive it.
Sounds like a simple fix, right? 51 it might not be so easy. Age is of much more 52 (important) in South Korea than elsewhere. South Korean people talk and behave based on their ages. This includes friends and family. Everybody has a specific title(称谓) depending on who is the oldest in a given relationship. I learned this 53 I taught English in Seoul. At that time, my two second - grade students had a dispute about age and title.
So, a law can be changed, but traditions(传统) don't always die so easily.

六、阅读表达(54题2分,55题2分,56题3分,满分7分)
请认真阅读下面短文,回答短文后的问题。
Whether in scenic spots or shopping malls, women usually wait in a long, slow - moving line for a toilet(卫生间). Not far away, men quickly go in and out of their own restrooms.
This has been the case for most women around the world for a long time. It's no secret that a trip to the toilet costs women more time than men, for a handful of reasons including biological differences. According to the World Toilet Organization, women spend an average(平均的) of 89 seconds on the toilet, about 2.3 times longer than 39 seconds spent by men. Yet the floor area of men's and women's public restrooms is mostly the same.
Now comes good news for women in China, as the government recently brought out a draft revision(修订草案) of the Law on the Protection of Women's Rights and Interests. It says that public places should have more toilets for women than for men.
A hashtag(标签) saying “Make sure more toilets for women than for men” became popular on the Internet, earning more than 260 million views. It has won the full support of both men and women.
“We need bathrooms far more than men do. Mothers take their young children to the toilets. And sometimes we need a space to check our clothing and appearance in the mirror,” a woman wrote online.
The toilet problem is no small matter. Caring about the details of women's rights can help improve the status(地位) of women and promote social progress.
