What do you want to do when you grow up? More young Chinese people are thinking about flexible employment(灵活就业).

Traditionally, flexible employment includes personal businesses and part - time jobs. But it has taken on new forms in the age of the Internet. “In this new age, young people are provided with chances to follow their own ways of life,” said Gao Yan, a professor from Beijing Normal University. “Doing flexible jobs doesn’t certainly mean that we can’t find a job or that we are not serious about employment,” said Liu. She believes that flexible employment helps people start their own businesses. It helps them make a difference with their own abilities and interests, pointing out a road for their future careers.
