Report on Go Green Programme
Introduction
One year ago, a group of students started the Go Green Programme, and then all the students and teachers joined in. This report shows the changes we have made and makes suggestions for future improvements.
Reduce
There are volunteers visiting classrooms at lunchtime and reminding students to turn off the lights and use natural light instead.
Our “feet first” activity means that more students now walk or cycle to school—see Figure 1.
Figure 1: How Pupils Come to School

Reuse
A second - hand sale was held in school in May and raised almost 8000. This money was used to buy some sports things.
Recycle
Leftover food is recycled in the school vegetable garden. The mixture of leftover food and soil grows good vegetables. We are now using more and more our own vegetables in the canteen(食堂), as Figure 2 shows.
Figure 2: Amount of Self - Grown Vegetables
Used in the School Canteen

Suggestions
At the end of the term, collect uniforms which are too small for you and give them away to other pupils. We can also sell some self - grown vegetables in the market for money to help sick children in hospital. In the next term we plan to collect rainwater. It can be reused in the school garden.
Conclusion(结论)
We can be proud of our Go Green achievements, but there is much more that we can do.
