The City Half Marathon,

one of people's favorite
running events, returns on
June 15, 2025, inviting
runners and fans to experience an unusual mix of sports
challenge and natural beauty. With a course designed
to show the city's green landscapes, the event promises
an unforgettable day for runners and visitors.
The race begins at 7:30 in the morning and ends
by 11:00 a.m. on Sunday. It starts at Golden City
Garden. And the finish line is at National Science and
Technology University. It allows up to ten thousand
runners to take part in the around 21 - kilometer race.
The way winds through the most amazing
landscapes: The first 5 km follows the tree - lined
Ecological Avenue, offering runners fresh air and the
road covered by trees. Mid - race passes through the
Baili Greenway, a quiet country area with blooming
rapeseed (油菜花) fields and traditional farmers'
houses. The final leg rounds past the Jin'an River,
where runners are greeted by cheering crowds and
cultural performances.
The runners should register(注册) on the official
app which opened on February 28, 2025. Who can
attend the match depends on a first - come, first - served
rule. Runners can take free shuttle buses from Subway
Station(Line 29) to the start line. They are available
from 5:00 a.m. Because of the influence of the Half
Marathon, main roads, including Yunchun South Road
and Peace East Street, will be closed from 5:00 a.m.
to 2:00 p.m. Detailed road maps are available online.
Since its opening in 2015, the Half Marathon has

grown into a celebration of perseverance (毅力) and
community. In 2024, over 12000 runners crossed the
finish line and many of them praised that the event
explained what race and friendship were perfectly. As
