New banknote designs replace (取代) Queen's picture

On January 23, new banknote designs were shown in Belize (a country in Central America). Now, banknotes have Queen Elizabeth II's picture. *But the new ones picture people who fought for Belize's independence.

Thrown statue rescued

On January 22, Greek police got a statue from a rubbish bag. It's from the Hellenistic period, over 2,000 years old. The statue has no head or arms. Experts think it could be a goddess (女神). Discoveries of ancient things are common in Greece.

Since 2000, letter deliveries have dropped by 90%。
There's an 1,800-year-old stone map of Rome under a glass floor. People can walk on it...
But the new ones picture people who fought for Belize's independence.
Greek police got a statue from a rubbish bag. It's from the Hellenistic period, over 2,000 years old. There's an 1,800-year-old stone map of Rome...
