Physical education varies worldwide
At my school,spor rts can be very relaxing.We don't have to go to a 40-minute class every
week.Instead,we can choose(选择)when we want to play sports.Also,there is a wide
variety of sports to choose from,ensuring that everyone can find something they enjoy.We can
take lessons in swimming,rock climbing(攀岩)and dancing along with ones in soccer,net bal |
and badminton.We don't have exams for sports.Even the younger students with regular
sports lessons don't take exams unless(除非)they choose Physical Education as a General

At my school,PE time is every afternoon from 3:30 to 5 pm.In PE c | lasses,students
usually just do practice,like running or weightlifting(举重)in the gym,or playing Frisbee(飞
盘)and more.However,people in the US love sports a lot.Sports team training is another
way of PE.Every school has sports teams,including American football,baseball,basketball,

At my school,we have two types of PE.One is standard PE and the other is Sports
Enrichment(体育拓展).They are mostly the same , with a few units(单元)about sports and
exercise to learn about.In Sports Enrichment,we have six units.Each one is about a sport,
and during the unit,we pr r act ice key ski l | ls for r the sport.For example,in basket t ball,,we practice
dribbling(控球), passing , and shooting.At the end of each unit,we do a summa ti ve(终结性
评价),kind of like a test.In tennis,we spend the whole unit passing the ball to each other.So
for the summa ti ve,we need to pass it at least 10 times without stopping to get a score of 100.
