My hobby is reading. I like reading books, magazines, newspapers, collections of short stories, novels, poems, or any kind of reading material that I find interesting.
This hobby got started when I was a little boy. At that time, I wanted my parents to read fairy tales (神话故事) and other stories to me. Soon they got fed up (厌烦) with having to read to me all the time. So as soon as I could, I learned to read. I started with ABC books. Soon I could read simple fairy tales and other stories. Now I read just about anything available (可得到的).
Reading enables (使能够) me to learn about many things. I learned about how people lived in the bygone (以往的) days of magic and mystery. I learned about the wonders of the world, space travel, human achievements, huge whales, tiny viruses (病毒), and other fascinating things.
The wonderful thing about reading is that I don’t have to learn things the hard way. Books have certainly helped me in my daily life. I am better equipped (具备的) to cope with (应付) living. Otherwise, I would go about ignorantly (无知地) learning things the hard way. For example, I don’t have to catch a disease to know that it can kill me. I read about the danger so I can avoid it. Also, I don’t have to go deep into the jungle to learn about tigers. I can read all about them in a book.
So, I continue to read. Besides being more informed about the world, I also spend my time profitably (有益地). It is indeed a good hobby. What is the best way to read more? We can take a book with us all the time and read it when waiting for something, like the bus. Make a list of books you are interested in, and make plans for when to finish reading them.

答案： I have some good reading habits. I usually read for about an hour every day. I prefer to read in the evening when it's quiet. I like to sit in my cozy armchair with a cup of tea while reading.
I read a wide variety of books, including novels, biographies, and science - related books. I always make a list of the books I want to read and set a goal to finish one book every two weeks.
When I'm reading, I like to take notes of the important points and interesting quotes. Also, I often discuss the books I've read with my friends. This way, I can get different perspectives and understand the books better.
I also make use of my spare time. For example, I take a book with me when I go out. When I'm waiting for the bus or in a queue, I can read a few pages. This helps me make full use of my time and read more.
