∵$(x - 2)^2+|y + 5|=0$,
∴x = 2,y = - 5,
∴原式=5×2×(-5)+4×2-(-5)+7 = - 50 + 8 + 5 + 7 = - 30.

∵2A - B的值与y的值无关,
∴5xy + 4x - y + 7中,5xy - y = 0,即5x - 1 = 0,
∴x = $\frac{1}{5}$.
