Five rules(规则) for a healthy life
Thanks to better health care, most people are living healthier and longer lives. Here are five rules for a healthy life.
1. Don't be a couch potato!
Sure, it's comfortable to sit on the sofa and watch TV. But doctors say we should get off the sofa and go for a walk every day to keep healthy.
2. Have a balanced diet!
It's important to have a balanced diet because it helps us build a strong body. A healthy body helps us live a better life. Healthy foods include vegetables, fruits, eggs, meat and fish. We should drink plenty of water every day. We may like fast food but we should eat less.
3. Rest while you can!
When we were babies, we slept for much of the night. Teenagers do not need as much sleep as babies, but it's important for you to get about eight hours' sleep a night.
4. Don't worry. Be happy!
Sometimes it is not easy to be a teenager because of the difficulties of school, exams or friendships. If we worry about something, we can talk to our parents or our teachers.
5. Say no to smoking!
Smoking is not cool. It is dangerous and harms our health. If someone smokes, he is also harming the people around him with his second-hand smoke.
