electronic(电子的)screens at night can make us sleep badly.
In the evening,our bodies make melatonin(褪黑素).Melatonin makes us feel sleepy and relaxed.It is an
important part of our sleep cycles(周期).But the electronic screens stop(阻止)the sleep cycles from working
well.
Why?Because the screens of phones and computers make blue light.Blue light stops our bodies from
making melatonin.Even just a little blue light can influence(影响)our sleep cycles.The study shows that
eight minutes of blue light can keep your brain “ working ” for another hour.When you fall asleep,you may
have lots of dreams.That stops your brain from resting well.
Don't worry. First,do something relaxing every night,such as taking a warm shower orr
reading a book.Second,sleep in a dark,quiet room.Finally,don't eat a big meal or have coffee before
bedtime.You'd better drink milk.
