Holidays are a big part of people's lives. A big one in many Asian(亚洲的) countries is the Moon Festival. It takes place in the middle of autumn. So, it's also called the Mid-Autumn Festival. During the Moon Festival, people gather with their family and friends. They eat moon cakes, and look at the full moon together. However, some countries do things a little differently.
In Cambodia(柬埔寨), the Moon Festival is in November. It lasts three days, and there is a big boat race in the first two days.
In South Korea, the Moon Festival is like Thanksgiving. People wear traditional clothes and go back home. There, they have a special service(宗教仪式) with their family. It is for their ancestors(祖先).
In Vietnam(越南), the Moon Festival is a mix of Halloween and Thanksgiving. Children walk in the streets with fish and star lanterns. They also sing all kinds of festival songs.
The Moon Festival is a really special time for many people. It is full of good family fun and lots of great things to eat. Everyone should experience it!
