三、阅读表达。
A. 完成图表。
The Chengdu Research Base is a famous place to work on the protection and study of pandas. Anyone interested in animals will have an enjoyable experience there. Let me explain it with my experience there.
Though it’s just a volunteer job, it’s not easy to get. Firstly, my parents needed to write their names on the paper. That meant they did allow me to become a volunteer. Secondly, I must pass several tests after getting some training.
Being a volunteer wasn’t easy, either. I had to get up early to reach the base and help get bamboo ready for the pandas. After the base opened, I started welcoming visitors. I spoke to the visitors and introduced information on pandas to them. In the afternoon, I helped organize games for children. The games must be educational and fun. Sometimes I needed to dress up as a panda to give some shows.
All in all, volunteering in the Chengdu Research Base is a wonderful and unforgettable experience for me. By taking care of pandas, I learned a lot about what pandas like to do every day as well as how often they do those things. And I learned to communicate well with others. Also, I made many new friends. I hope all students have a chance(机会) to try it.
