(1)It/That/This is/was the first/second/... time (that)... 是固定句型，表示“这是第一/二/……次……”。当主句用 was 时，从句用过去完成时；当主句用 is 时，从句用现在完成时。
(2)The first/second/... time 引导时间状语从句时，主从句中的谓语动词常用一般过去时。
(3)It is (high) time that sb did/should do... “到该干……的时候了”(从句中谓语动词常用一般过去时或 should do，should 一般不能省略)。
