阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。
From the time when I was a child, my mother made it clear that she did not like nursing homes. I remember her saying that nursing homes were terrible places. Whenever my mother mentioned the topic, she would shake her finger at me and add a warning: “If you put me in one of those places, I'll not forgive you!” I knew my mother's wishes and wanted to obey them.
Fortunately, my mother lived near me, and for many years it was easy to check on her and help with her care. But with each passing year, my mother experienced a decline in her physical ability and mental acuity (敏锐). After 90, when she was diagnosed with dementia (痴呆), she needed more assistance with the normal activities of daily living and required close observation just for her own safety.
With the passage of time, I, too, was getting older. I had my own mobility (活动性) issues and health concerns. As the days passed, it became clearer that some changes were needed. If I had to go out for groceries, I couldn't leave her alone. When I slept, my mother was unsupervised (无人监督的), and she could get out of bed and wander off.
Fortunately, while I was figuring out what to do, a brand - new nursing home was built in our
town. I toured the nursing home and discovered that it could provide a private room for my mother. It also had staff members that were very professional and well - trained. I tried to convince myself that this new nursing home was the best and safest place for my mother, but I seemed to hear my mother's words and see her finger shake in front of my eyes.

续写词数应为150左右。

答案:
Paragraph 1:Eventually, I decided and shared my plan with Mum. Hearing that she would be sent to a nursing home, she protested bitterly. And she screamed at the top of her voice, “You will not be forgiven.” I told her my concerns, convincing her that it would be the best choice for both of us at present. Besides, the nursing home was just a stone’s throw from my house(在我家附近), which meant I could visit her frequently. With much painstaking effort, she agreed.Paragraph 2:The big day came finally. I got up early, helping pack up the daily necessities. With everything in place, off we went. As soon as Mum was settled in her new room, she took the change as an opportunity to move to a brand-new house. However, it still took her a while to adapt to the new environment. I also kept my promise by paying frequent visits. Seeing her happy face, I knew I made a right decision.
