二、阅读理解
|题目|体裁|字数|难度|建议用时|实际用时|正确率|
|制服的意义|说明文|305|★★★★|7 分钟|____分钟|____/4|
Have you ever noticed many people wear uniforms(制服)? Doctors, nurses, police officers and many others all have special work clothes. Uniforms are much more than just clothes—they serve several important purposes in our daily life.
Uniforms help create a professional(专业的) appearance. When all workers wear uniforms, it makes the whole workplace look more organized and trustworthy. Imagine walking into a hospital where everyone wears different clothes. It would be very confusing(令人困惑的)! The uniform helps patients know who is a doctor or a nurse.
Uniforms also help create equality among workers. When everyone dresses the same, there's no competition about who has better or more expensive clothes. This creates a stronger team spirit and helps workers focus on their work rather than their appearance. Students in school uniforms often don't have to worry about fashion or being judged for what they wear.
Safety is perhaps the most important reason for many uniforms. Different jobs require special protective clothing. Construction(建造) workers wear hard hats and bright reflective(反光的) vests so that they can be seen easily and protected from falling objects. Firefighters wear heat-resistant(耐热的) suits that can fight against high heat. Even cooks wear special non-slip(防滑的) shoes and tall hats to keep hair out of food.
Uniforms also save time and money. Workers don't have to spend time each morning deciding what to wear or spend lots of money buying work clothes. The company provides the uniform, and workers just need to keep it clean and tidy.
In our modern world, uniforms continue to be important. Next time you see someone in uniform, remember there are many good reasons behind those special clothes!
