It takes you about one-third of your time to sleep. Remember(记住) your dreams may bring a lot of interest. However, in most of time, you may quickly forget your dreams after you wake up.
If you can’t remember your dreams, what can you do? Here are some useful ways to help you.
You dream when you sleep for the first four to six hours, so it’s important to sleep well at night. If you wake up from a dream, do not open your eyes or move. Looking around the room or moving may not help you remember the dream. Remember the dream as fully as you can. Then open your eyes and write a dream diary as much as you can remember before you go back to sleep.
You can also look out of a window and think about your dream. Describe the scene(场景), including the colours and sounds. Draw a picture to help you remember the dreams.
Tell yourself you can remember dreams and then remind(提醒) yourself to do so. An easy way to do this is to write a note. Place it somewhere. Then you’ll see it before you go to sleep, and read the note loudly. Speaking helps your brain remember better.
If you still can’t remember dreams, start small. When you wake up, think about how you’re feeling. Happy? Scared? Excited? Try sleeping for a little more time or taking a nap(打盹) in the daytime, as those dreams are often easier to remember.
