二、阅读理解(每小题2分,满分30分)
答案:
答案略
A
Lucy took a deep breath as she entered Sunshine Middle School. Her hands felt sweaty(出汗的), and her backpack seemed heavier than usual. When she walked into Class 3B, a boy with messy curly(卷曲的) hair waved at her. “Hi! You must be Lucy. I’m Tom. Your desk is next to mine!” he said cheerfully. His bright smile made Lucy feel a little relaxed.
At lunchtime, Lucy saw a quiet girl sitting alone at a corner table. The girl with long black hair and glasses was reading a thick book. Lucy hesitated(犹豫) but finally walked over. “Would you like to share my cookies?” she asked, holding out a small box. The girl looked surprised, and then smiled. “Thanks! I’m Emma. These smell amazing!” They chatted about books while eating, and Lucy felt happy that she’d tried to talk to someone.
Later, in PE class, there was a team relay race. Lucy’s heart sank—she hated running. Noticing her nervousness, Mr Brown patted her shoulder. “Just do your best! It’s about teamwork, not speed,” he said warmly. Lucy ran slower than others, but her teammates cheered loudly when she passed the baton(接力棒).
When the school bell rang, Lucy walked out with Tom and Emma. “See you tomorrow!” they said. Lucy smiled to them and also to herself. Maybe new beginnings weren’t so scary after all.
