Lulu doesn't like Sandy Witch(女巫) because Sandy can do better than her. And she often makes fun of(取笑) her. One day, Lulu wakes up with spots(痘痘) and can't go to school. She is happy because she doesn't want Sandy to make fun of her. But the days at home are so boring(无聊的), so ...
①The next day, Mama Witch says, “Lulu, you can go back to school!”
②Lulu is happy. She gets her broom(扫帚) and her lunchbox.
③“Goodbye,” she calls to Mama Witch and Baby Witch.
④Lulu Witch walks to school as fast as she can. She knows that Sandy Witch is going to make fun of her spots. But she is not going to get angry. If the other little witches laugh(大笑), Lulu is going to laugh too. So there!
⑤Lulu Witch walks into the classroom.
⑥“Welcome back!” says Miss Kate. “We miss you.”
⑦Lulu sits down at the big table. Where is Sandy Witch? She can't see her.
⑧Then Sandy Witch comes in. There are spots all over her face!
⑨“You have spots!” Lulu Witch and Sandy Witch shout at the same time.
⑩Sandy Witch sits down next to Lulu Witch.
⑪“You look funny(滑稽的),” says Sandy Witch.
⑫“You do, too,” says Lulu Witch.
⑬They both laugh.
⑭“I think I have more spots than you,” says Sandy Witch.
⑮“You do not!” says Lulu Witch. “We will count and see.”
⑯Lulu Witch counts the spots on Sandy Witch's face. There are 67.
⑰Then Sandy Witch counts Lulu's spots. Lulu has 69.
⑱For once she has done something better than Sandy Witch.
⑲“You win,” says Sandy Witch.
