Felicia Grimmenhag is from Sweden. She doesn't want anything to get in her way of making her dream come true, even if a life-changing accident happened.
After a serious car accident, Felicia had to get used to getting around in a wheelchair. But it didn't stop her from following her dream of becoming a top horse rider.
In early June 2011, a car hit 17-year-old Felicia. When she woke up in the hospital, she found she lost both of her legs. However, Felicia didn't give up trying to make her dream come true. She began to ride as a little girl and decided to try again in the hospital. She didn't know if she would be able to make it. But after ten weeks' training with the help of the doctors and her coach, she could ride once again!
“Riding a horse means a lot to me,” Felicia said. “When I sit on a horse, I don't feel like I'm disabled(残疾的). I feel like a common person and I feel confident.” She took part in lots of competitions around the world. She wanted to show that she could win although she lost both of her legs.
“I have learned from this. We should dare to challenge ourselves,” Felicia said.
