The Mystery of the Longyou Caves
There are many mysteries in the natural world,and the Longyou Caves are one of them.They are considered one of the most mysterious underground structures in the world.
The Longyou Caves,which are a complex of 24 man-made caves,lie in Longyou County,Zhejiang Province.①It covers an area of about 380,000 square meters.In 1992,several local farmers ②accidentally discovered these underground caves.
At first,③people thought they were a natural wonder.④But after further research,it was discovered that these are man-made ones with a special drainage system.⑤And every cave can get sunlight,⑥so they have good illumination.
