I can still remember my primary school homework on animals. I decided __1__(write)about the whale(鲸鱼). I have loved them from a young age. I'm not quite sure why I love them. This way, they seem very clever.
So, of course, one of my best memories __4__(be)when I got to see a type of whale called the Southern Right Whale in Argentina. Watching them moving smoothly in the water, I felt __5__(happy)than ever. They were so beautiful!

五、阅读与表达。
The world's longest - ever study to study happiness was recently completed by scientists at Harvard Medical School. After so many years, the research found that happy people all shared one common quality: They had good relationships.
In 1938, the Harvard Study of Adult Development started a research project to find out what makes people grow healthily. The study firstly focused on 724 people, but later expanded(扩大)to include more than three generations(代)of their children. In all, more than 2,000 people were studied. The results were published in a book, The Good Life: Lessons from the World's Longest Scientific Study of Happiness.
“The researchers found that having strong, positive relationships made people feel the happiest. The relationships could be with a partner, another family member, or a friend. The reason why relationships may be the key to happiness is that they help people manage stress,” said Dr Robert Waldinger, the study director. In addition, the study concluded that a challenging life is often a happy one because people get satisfaction from doing hard tasks, such as raising children or opening a business. It's also OK not to feel happy all the time, the study found.
A Researchers followed the study participants throughout their lives, starting when they were teenagers. B They collected information about their physical and mental health, including exercise levels and top worries. The scientists met with the participants. C Study participants also rated(评估) their lives in surveys and were given physical examinations that included brain scans and blood tests. D
Dr Waldinger said that some common beliefs about happiness didn't hold up when they were studied. For example, people with plenty of money weren't necessarily happier. “You can't __5__,” he said.
