Ⅰ.阅读表达
「2025 江苏南京金陵汇文学校月考」
How much pocket money do you get from your parents every month? What do you often do with your money? We asked two British middle school students for their opinions on pocket money.
Ruth Sawyers:
I get 5 pounds every week from my parents. I usually save 1.5 pounds and spend the rest. The two things I usually like to buy with my pocket money are storybooks and Lego blocks. I don't really think about getting more pocket money. And I even don't talk about pocket money with my friends at school. If some people's parents give them too much pocket money, other children might get jealous(嫉妒的). It's important not to show off(炫耀) what you've got.
Jimmy Segalow:
My mum gives me 10 pounds a week. She says either I can spend it in the school canteen(餐厅) or she will make me a packed lunch, and then I can spend the 10 pounds on whatever I want.
I like trainers. If they cost 50 pounds and I only have 40 pounds, my mum might give me an extra(额外的) 10 pounds. But I have to do some housework instead.
I know that it's not safe to talk about pocket money. So I try not to talk about my pocket money at school.
根据短文内容,回答下列问题。注意:第1—2题每题答案不超过8个单词,第3题词数不限。
1. What should Jimmy Segalow do to get the extra money?
