Ryan Boyland is from America. He is now a doctor in Canada. Last summer, he graduated from a famous medical school. His parents wanted to have a celebration party for him. ▲ He didn't think his graduation or being a doctor was such a special thing though he was proud of that.
Then Ryan's parents thought of another idea. They made a big billboard(广告牌) with large words “Our Doctor Ryan Boyland” on it and put it up in their neighborhood to celebrate their son's success. The billboard also showed Ryan's graduation photo.
The billboard was nearly 6 meters high and was near Ryan's high school. Ryan's parents thought it was just at the right place. They wanted to encourage more students in this high school to become doctors. “Now many students don't want to be doctors because they think doctors are busy and tired,” Ryan's father said.
