A butterfly starts its life as a tiny egg on a leaf. It hatches（孵化）into a little green caterpillar（毛虫）. The caterpillar eats and eats. （2）It eats many leaves. The caterpillar eats and grows for two weeks. It grows into a fat caterpillar.
