Most of my friends walk to school daily, but I like to ride my bike. After I eat breakfast and wash my face for school, I pick up my backpack. I take my bike from the garage(车库). I jump onto my bike and ride along the driveway. “See you later, Mum,” I say.

I pass my friends as I ride by. “Hi, Matt!” they call as I pass. Marta does not want to ride with me. She does not like to wear a backpack. She likes to carry her books in her arms as she walks. She likes to look at flowers in the yards. She likes to kick the fallen leaves.
Not me! I like to fly on my bike with the fresh air on my face. When I get to school, I lock my bike. I walk across the field to say “hi” to Mrs Brown and wait for my friends in our classroom.
