Recently， Shanxi has made headlines across the Internet for its fascinating ancient buildings. And tourists have rushed here.
Actually， many people have been working to show the beauty of Shanxi's ancient buildings. Qin Zhizhen， a young artist， is among them.
Born in 1995， Qin grew up in Taiyuan. He spent much of his childhood visiting Jinci Temple and other historical places in Shanxi. He also listened to stories behind the buildings， which interested him in ancient Chinese buildings.
After attending college， Qin learned that most of China's early surviving（幸存的） buildings are in Shanxi. However， Shanxi didn't catch much attention like Shaanxi or Henan， so after college， Qin decided to draw these buildings， using his skills to bring them to life.
That wasn't easy. It took Qin a long time to complete the first drawing. Later， Qin shared his story named "Drawing Ancient Buildings in Shanxi" online. When knowing many of his followers visited Shanxi after seeing his works， he felt that his hard work hadn't been wasted.
Over the past years， Qin has traveled to cities around Shanxi， like Datong and Shuozhou， visiting more than 30 old buildings and creating over 80 works. Qin will continue his work. He hopes more and more people know these buildings and learn about culture behind them through his drawings.
