The person I admire most is Edison. He was one of the greatest scientists in the twentieth century. He was famous around the world as an inventor as well. In 1879, he succeeded in inventing the bulb after thousands of times of tests. Edison devoted all his life to his scientific research. During his lifetime, he had over one thousand inventions and made a great contribution to the development of mankind. After fighting against the illness for years, he passed away at home at the age of 84 in 1931.
