答案:
根据后文“The kings of ancient China loved dragons. Their clothes were covered with... of dragons.”
根据“Their clothes were covered with...of dragons.” 故选A。
根据后文“to call ourselves the ‘descendants of the dragon’”并结合常识可知,我们是龙的传人,我们感到很“自豪”。故选B。
根据“It is...that people born in the Year of the Dragon have certain characters.” It is said that...“据说……”
根据前文“There are some famous ‘dragons’ who have done excellent things”可知,他们是“成功的”。故选B。
while然而,当……
根据空后的our traditional culture on to more and more people可知,此处考查pass sth. on to sb.“把某物传给某人”这一用法。故选B。

It was my birthday last Wednesday.________
答案:
One possible version:
It was my birthday last Wednesday. After school, I came home as usual. To my surprise, I found my room was in a mess when I opened the door. My books were everywhere. I didn't know who did that.
There must be someone visiting my room. I was very angry and decided to find out who did this. I guessed it might be a thief who broke in my room, but other rooms were clean and tidy. Then I thought it could be my little brother, who often played in my room. However, he was too short to open the door. As I wondered, a lovely dog came out. At the same time, my parents came and told me it was my birthday present.
I was so happy that I didn't care about the mess anymore. That birthday present is the best one that I've ever received.
