　　A very strong earthquake,with a magnitude (震级)of6.9,hit Morocco late at night on Sept.8,2023.At that time,Sed was away from his family home in the small town off Tamaloukte,near the epicenter(震中)of the earthquake.He hurried back home to save his family through the broken buildings that covered the roads.Volunteers provided Sed's family with a tent,warm clothes,and food to help them live through the first part of the earthquake.The Moroccan Red Crescent and the Qatar Red Crescent helped Sed's family as they dealt with the things that they had lost.

The earthquake is very cruel(残酷的).Onthe morning of April 3，2024, a 7.3-magnitudeearthquake hit the sea area near Hualien ,Taiwan.As of April 6 , the quake had killed 13 people andinjured more than 1 , 140 people.There had beenmore than 20 aftershocks(余震)of magnitude 5or above in Hualien ,as of April 7.
