Last weekend, Tom, Jim and Ted planned to ride their bikes to the farm to visit their grandparents. They met at Tom’s home on Saturday morning and started at 2:00 in the afternoon. It was a long way from Tom’s home to the farm. They took a lot of food and drink such as bread, water, eggs and bananas. They got there three hours later. Their grandparents were happy.
The next day, Tom, Jim, and Ted helped with the farm work in the morning. They fed the chickens and then watered the vegetables. At noon, their grandmother cooked fresh fish and vegetables for them. She cooked well. Jim used to not like vegetables at all. But at that time, those vegetables were so delicious and he liked them a lot. In the afternoon, their grandfather helped them to fly kites. Their kites flew high. What an interesting country life! They all had a wonderful weekend.
