Ⅲ 任务型阅读
One day, several boys decided to play a football game. Each one of them brought something for the game: a ball, a whistle (哨子), corner flags and so on. Before the game started, they needed to choose the teams. They decided that the boy who brought the most important thing would choose the team first. They thought it was the fairest. However, everyone thought that they brought the most important thing. They argued (争论) over the matter.
A boy said that the whistle was not necessary because someone could shout instead. So, they put the whistle to one side. Then they found something to take the place of the corner flags...Finally, they put the football to one side and used an old tin (金属罐) instead.
They started to play. But the game didn’t go well. The boy who served as the referee (裁判) needed to shout out all the time. And he quickly got a sore throat (喉咙痛). The tin didn’t compare with the ball. The boys often kicked the tin out of bounds (界限) because there were no corner flags.
The boys had to stop the game. One boy said that without the ball and other things, they couldn’t play a good game. Because of their selfish (自私的) thoughts, a great game had turned into something boring. He told everyone that they should use the proper things for the game. Other boys all agreed.
In the end, it turned out to be a great game. All the boys had fun.(E8206003)
