Ⅰ. 短文阅读(每小题 2 分,满分 8 分)
As a student, you must have met all kinds of teachers. Do you like or hate them? Is there complete understanding between you and them?
At first, I thought Miss Li was nervous and shy. But now, I find she's kind and patient, and she explains English grammar so clearly that even I can understand it well! She always avoids making you feel stupid(笨的). I've always hated making mistakes or pronouncing a word incorrectly when I speak English, but Miss Li just smiles, so that I don't feel that stupid!
Mrs Chen is very strict and serious. In her class, we don't dare(敢) to say a word unless she asks us to. There are a few students in our class who keep coming to class late, but they're always on time for Mrs Chen's lessons! Some of our classmates don't like her. But most of us really appreciate(欣赏) her because her teaching is so well organised(有组织的) and clear. Physics will never be my favourite lesson, but I think I'll do well in the exam with Mrs Chen teaching me.
Mr Wu is very popular. He really enjoys teaching Chinese. You can't imagine what a great teacher he is! He talks loudly and fast and waves his hands about a lot when he gets excited. He's really understanding and funny. When he thinks we're getting bored, he will tell us jokes and make us active again. We really respect him a lot.

Ⅱ. 任务型阅读(每小题 2 分,满分 6 分)
What should you do if you want to have a nice photo taken? Whether it's work or fun, the most important thing is lighting. If you get bad lighting, you will look bad too. Know where the light is. You don't want it below you or above you. You want it to shine directly at you.
The key thing is no shadow(阴影). If you are being photographed outside, do it in the morning, or wait till the 2 o'clock shadow has passed.
Tip your head and learn what angles(角度) work with your face. Everyone is different. So you have to learn what suits you. You can practise in Photo Booth for as long as it is your turn, to learn what angles suit your face. Tip your neck to make it look longer and make eye contact(接触) with the camera. No one can look bad if they smile.
For long legs, point one leg into the centre of the frame(框架) and get the photographer to shoot(拍摄) looking up your body.
For just leg shots, lie upside down and raise legs in the air for the best angle. And legs will look thinner and be in better shape.
Keep shoulders back.
Always have your mouth slightly open, enough to put a penny between your lips, as this will make your lips look fuller.
Try to catch every perfect photogenic(上镜的) moment!
