A
(2023.黑龙江哈尔滨师范大学附属中学高一上期中)Growing up,I remember my father as a silent, serious man−not the sort of person around whom one could laugh. As a teenager arriving in America, knowing notthing,I wantted a father who could explain the human journey. In college, when friends called home for advice,I would sink into deep depression for what I did not have.
Today,at twenty−seven,I have come to rediscover them in ways that my teenage mind would not allow−as adults and as friends with their own faults and weaknesses.
One night after my move back home,I overheard my father on the telephone. There was some trouble.Later,Dad shared the problem with me.Apparently my legal training had earned me some privileges(特权)in his eyes.I talked through the problem with Dad,analyzing the purposes of the people involved and offering several negotiation skills. He listened patiently before finally admitting,“I can't think like that.I am a simple man."
Dad is a brilliant scientist who can deconstruct(解构)the building blocks of nature.
Yet human natture is a mystery to him.Thatt night I realized that he was simply not skilled at dealing with people, much less the trouble of a conflicted teenager. It's not in his nature to understand human desires.
And so,it was no one's fault that my father held no interest in human lives while I placed greatt importance on them.We are att times born more sensitive and dreamy than our parents and become more curious and idealistic than them.
Dad perhaps never expected too much from me as a child. And I,who knew Dad as an inttelligent man,had never understood that his intelligence did not cover all of my feelings.
It has saved me years of questioning and confusion.I now see my parents as people who have other relationships with me not just Father and Mother.I now ignore their many faults and weaknesses, which once annoyed me.
I now know my parents as friends:people who ask me for advice;people who need my support and understanding. And I've come to see my past clearly.

There are so many ways to make new friends such as joining a sports team, taking part in community activities,or traveling. And there is no doubt that a friend in need is a friend indeed because he can help you out when you are in trouble or encourage you when you are frustrated (沮丧的).Personally, joining a sports team will be my first choice.
The primary reason for this is that everyone in a sports team has the same interest, which is the most fundamental(基础的)character for friends.Because of it,they will become your potential friends so that the chance to be true friends is very high.In addition, the same interest can give you a lot of topics to talk about with your friends in daily conversation.
Another factor that should be taken into consideration is the memory. After you fight for a goal with your partners,it will leave you a good experience, which is necessary for a long−lastting friendship.I used to be a player in the basketball team of my high school.Even though it was five years ago,I can remember all the exciting moments when we fought for the championship as
if they happened yesterday. And although we went to different universities,we get together so many times.
In addition, trust is also an important aspect.
As we know, keeping trusting each other is the most important thing in the team because it can make you be together all the time.Furthermore, you can share happiness and sadness with reliable friends and they willl make you feel life is beautiful and that the future is bright.
Join a sports team, and your new friends are waiting for you.

根据第一段的“And there is no doubt that a friend in need is a friend indeed because he can help you out when you are in trouble or encourage you when you are frustrated (沮丧的).” 根据第一段的“Personally, joining a sports team will be my first choice.” 根据第二段的“Because of it, they will become your potential friends so that the chance to be true friends is very high.” 通读全文,尤其是根据最后一段“Join a sports team, and your new friends are waiting for you.”
