Your mum does a lot of housework, and you really want to help her. What can you do? Here is some advice for you.
Care for your own space. Try to keep your room clean. Put your things in the right place. If you make a mess (脏乱), clean it up quickly.
Share some of your mum's chores. Find out what chores you could help do. It usually depends on (取决于) your age. Children can begin to take care of their own washing from around the age of 8. If you don't know how to use the washing machine, just ask.
Help with cooking. You never know you may find you're an excellent cook. You may not cook a big dinner, but you can try to make a simple lunch.
Plan a “Mum's Day Off”. Get the rest of your family together and plan a “Mum's Day Off”. Choose a day to do all the chores with your dad and your sister or brother. Let your mum enjoy a relaxing day.
Be active. Ask your mum what you can help with. Do not wait until she tells or asks you to do something. And if she asks for your help, don't say “no”. She wouldn't ask if she doesn't need your help.
Always help your mum, and she will be very happy.
