The Great Wall is the world's longest man-made structure(人工建筑). It is like a giant dragon in northern(北方的) China. How long is the "dragon"? It took scientists many years to find out the answer.
People built the Great Wall in many different times. The oldest part is over 2,000 years old now. Much of today's wall is from the Ming dynasty. All the different parts of the wall add up to a length of 21,196.18 kilometres.
