A
Schoolboys are only allowed to play with soft sponge(海绵) footballs on the playground instead of leather(皮的) and plastic(塑料的) footballs at Harewood Junior School in England.
The head teacher Andrea Mills says that the decision is to help students keep away from hurting themselves. She has bought some sponge footballs for each group so that the children can still play their favorite games.
Andrea Mills has also explained that they will be still using the leather balls for football clubs and P.E. lessons.
However, most parents don't agree with the decision. A father says, "People have been playing footballs for years. There have never been any problems before. The health and safety rules really need to be thought over again."
A mother says, "My son is on the football team at school and he needs to practice. These sponge balls aren't going to help him."
Andrea Mills still keeps up the decision and explains that it has been accepted by both children and teachers at school. "Children love footballs and we don't want to stop them, so we use sponge balls because they can't hurt people," she says.

My Opinion on Copying Others' Homework
It is known to us all that some students copy others' homework. We students have to do a large number of homework both at home and at school. It's also true that sometimes we have some problems which are too difficult for us to work out. Lazy and uninterested in their lessons, some students copy others' homework both to finish assignments and please their teachers.
In a word, copying others' homework is a bad habit. For one thing, it is against the rules of the school. We should be honest and work hard to achieve high grades. If we have questions, we can turn to our teachers and our classmates for help. For another, if we cop others' homework too often, we will lose the ability to think.
We should do our best to gain knowledge. Let's do our best to stop such bad behavior. Here are some American classroom rules.
If the teacher asks a question, he or she expects you to give an answer. If you do not understand the question, you should put up your hand and ask the teacher to repeat the question. If you do not know the answer, it is all right to tell the teacher that you do not know. Then he or she knows what you need ______ (1) (learn).
There is no excuse for not finishing your homework. If you are absent, you should call your teacher or your classmate and ask about the assignment. It is your responsibility to find out what assignments you ______ (2) (miss).
You must not be absent on a test day. If you are ______ (3) (serious) ill, call and let the teacher know you will not be there for the test. If your teacher allows a make-up test, you should take the test within one or two days after returning to class. (A) the, only, is, serious, for, a test, illness, reason, missing.
Be on time! It is considered rude to be late. Also, it disturbs other students. If you are late, be sure to behave quietly. Have your books and papers out of your bag before you come into the room. Then go to your seat and sit ______ (4) (quiet). In the U.S., it is not necessary to knock before you enter the classroom. If you must leave during the class, do it quietly. There is no need to ask the teacher's ______ (5) (permit). Entering a teacher's office (B) (未先敲门) is not good. Knock first, then wait to be invited in.
